how have you secured the mk3 dash clocks into place?

I unscrewed the brackets and moved them along then i just used cable ties put them through the
holes on the clocks and round the brackets positioned them infront of the bracket rather then in it
sits closer to the dash then

ha, did same as you when i rewired mine, forgot the heater controls..... looking good, its not far off now then!

annoying aint it i tried everything to get it to fit without taking the dash back out but it was not having it

still a way to go yet lucky if i get 1 hour a week on it
yeah i'm the same, just dont get time but the missus is putting pressure on to finish as she doesn't like it looking sorry for itself outside the house...  I still think i might to get the dash out again soon as i think i have missed a couple of things.

pretty much as ive done mine, but with the mk3 clocks being bigger than the mk2 originals you struggle to see the temp/fuel gauges, indicator/full beam warning lights and the row of warning lights at the bottom of the clocks

i wonder if corrado clocks fit better?

I don't think a semi will give the same results

theyre not as tall as mk3 clocks but would have to double check the width
