What will we be faster than ??

Im just curious as to which rival hot hatches we will be able to smoke on the road and which ones we should quietly drive past incase of being smoked

urm none seeing as the Golf has the least power out of the current batch of hot hatches lol

It's not all about speed, it's what you've got that counts.  :wink:
Looked at some others but thought the Golf was the best overall package.

exactly - i'd still pick a Golf over a Megane, Focus etc etc  :smiley:

obviously our GTI's look nicer but im talking about pace are we fater than focus st ?

30-70mph the golf beats the type r and the focus st.  its only off the line its slower.  mid range it is as good if not better than the rest (bar maybe the megane i think).  and anyway, chavs in st's and meganes only want to race the gti because they can't afford one!!

i would imagine that is quicker.  but who cares if it is anyway, you have the badge and that's all that counts!  there is a thread with all the stats somewhere but i can't find it - can anyone else remember seeing that?  i think it was quoting a test evo mag had done?

Remap will even things up against any hothatch.  :shocked:
 However as to racing on the roads, Its all about the driver and how big your balls are. Direct speed counts for nothing. Its about how much speed you hold though corners / over round abouts.
