Glass fibre ghia anyone?
« on: 10 September 2004, 09:50 »
found this company...? www.ghiastudio.co.uk

i mailed them about prices..

the basic kit prices started at the following...

coupe shell ?2600 and? cabrio shell is ?2400

not sure what extras are on top.. havent looked into glass fibre bits for a while..

i'd assume extras include fitments to a bug chassic.. etc etc..

think i'd rather get a ratty 'real' one for that kinda money than the starts of? a replica

however they do also sell GRP panels.. i know some ghia panels can be tricky to get.. or find someone who can fit them properly... (the nose cone being one)
Used to have a '97 MK3 16v GTI 3dr in 'Black Magic'... now have a '55 Civic Type-S...

They do look nice - but its well overpriced.

You can get a decent hot rod for half that price.

The only kits i know that are more expensive are the Cobra ones.

Mind you it will never rust!
