Turbo exploded

Popped just as it was coming onto full boost,

Engine coolant temperature?

Throttle position?

Engine revs?

Loads of smoke came out of the back of the car. No warning lights no nothing.

The turbo is just a simple mechanical device, and has no 'electronics' monitoring it, so will never create a DTC or ping a warning light.

when you say came into full boost, are we talking a bit of a thrashing, and if the car was remapped or modded no doubt that will change the warranty.
