dealer preparation time?

can anyone tell me how long it takes for the dealer to prepare the car for pick up ie. time from delivery to me picking it up?  thanks!

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

Assuming you are not having any accessories fitted or Lifeshine applied they should be able to bang it through the PDI in a couple of hours max (even less if they leave the suspension blocks in!  :grin:).

All depends how much other work they have got on, and if they have registered it.

i am having the supaguard put on and its not been registered yet so i bet it takes them ages grrr

They may well have access to the DVLA system now to register the car (saves them going and queing up at the PO or DVLA office) so this won't take long. Surely they are waiting until Sep 1st to register it?

Supaguard shouldn't take too long to do, can't guarantee that it will be applied with much love though.........

i would like to think they are waiting for sep 1st!!  well i had the supaguard on my mk 5 and it worked a treat, and got it for free so happy days!

If it helps (and it won't unless you are buying from us), we allow 5 working days between car coming off the transporter and being handed over.

This is however a very busy time of year for us and in the last week we have had over thirty new cars delivered at my branch. Your salesman will hopefully keep you advised especially if you promise him top marks in the customer satisfaction survey..... :grin:
