Hi guys, im still fairly new here& from S.A.
where they keep oldskool dubz to a minimal
i would like to know if any1 can point me in the right direction to ANY ARB's information on lengths, measurements, bends, brackets, pictures, or something blueprint like?? Im a student with limited finances so its no option to ship ARB's here as it would cost me a fortune (OR ANOTHER MK1 ACTUALLY), i am currently driving a 89 mk2 Gti 16v 5door and restoring my 78 mk1 3door for a year now. NONE of the mk1 golfs here in South Africa comes with ARB's and there is almost NO mk1 Gti's to be found here, not even the all new to S.A. Velociti or any Citi for that matter has ARB(If it did i would have snatched it off a donor). I talked to the guy restoring the mk1s Sexy Body & he pointed me to a guy who can infact MAKE the ARB's using the same steel as Spring steel (suspension coils) :rolleyes:not sure wat you call it... for a fraction of the cost which will fit my budget(seeing that im paying for my own studies aswell)
So all the guy needs (&ME
) is some sort of blueprint to point us in the right direction concerning these ARB's. Thanx alot guys i hope You all can help...
i dont wanna roll my 3door due to a lack of ARB's plz :embarassed:
