Not new too volkswagons but this is my first Mk3 which had too be a gti.
I have had 2 mk1 gti's,1 tornado red vento vr6 and a dragon green b4 passat vr6 estate.
Recently lost my way and decided too ditch the passat in favour of a limited edition
citrine yellow mk1 mondeo si,WHAT A MISTAKE.
So after replacing the gearbox,both driveshafts and a subframe which i had too cut the original off
as all the bolts apart from 1 was seized, i started hankering after another veedub.
Advertised the mondeo which had 5 months tax and MOT till 12th september and specified that i
would be open for a swap but only for a mk2/mk3 golf.
Got a phone call from someone 45miles from me offering me a black mk3 golf 3 door,2l 8v 118,000
11 months MOT 6 months tax.
JUMPED AT THE CHANCE
