It does say with supporting modifications. That alone on a standard vr engine would kill it.

Anything over about 300bhp and ubwould want to rebuild the engine to handle it. If the engine has done a lot of miles then I wouldn't run 300bh on stock intrnals. Remember the intervals were designed for 174bhp n/a nit 380bhp 20psi turbo! Lol

I would suggest heading to the vr6oc forum or edition38 as there a lot of them on there. This forum is very oem and doesn't have any first hand experience with vr6t's. Sorry.

so likely a very expensive mod, if to be sustainable! im prob going to go the supercharging route in a few months time. Would tht need uprated internals for a basic/stage 1 level supercharger?

You could run LOW boost with a head gasket spacer to lower the CR on that turbo kit. Another thing is the price of that kit.....It's tooo cheap the turbo will prob only last a few thousand miles. I would rather spend abit more to get a reliable kit.

I wouldn't go for any kit. As I said. Speak to people who have done it, some hve done it for under a grand... Kits are a mugg off.

Looks quite extreme
One point though, the vr6 internals were designed to take alot more than the stock 174bhp.
You should be able to run 250bhp easily without internal mods, i think 300bhp was the top limit when i looked into it.
