from what i can gather from reading back through alot of threads, if god is on my side and i have the skc number in my documents at home people have been saying you can use vagcom to do it, im guessing it is the full version needed though?

yes you will require the full version

the SKC code usually came on a little black tag attached to a plastic key

depending on the year this is a 4-5 or 7 digit code  :nerd:

fingers crossed its there, im spending way to much money recently, dont fancey having to buy vag-tacho as well  :rolleyes:

where in the country are you?? might be cheaper, easier and quicker to find someone local to you with the right tools  :smiley:

hmm could try Neil (old_no7) but he's based in Stoke or try Topher as he's in Tamworth / Hinckely when he's at R-Tech

yep - full and latest vagcom already and the kit to grab the skc is on it's way (along with a truck load of dogs bollox fault code scanners/data loggers - available VERY cheap as soon as they land!)
