Alreet chaps i fitted my t.i.p on the weekend, and had to fit (read pikey bodge) the dv into one of the holes on the t.i.p. that was too small. so i ask you is it gonna cause me any problems if i get a reducer thingy to make it fit the hole better? will it stop the dv being as effective?

Can i get the obd port cover thingy from the stealers/ motor factors or do i have to drag my lazy ass down the local scrappy's? A part number would be nice if i can get it from the dealers.

Also i found a guide on how to fix the rear wash/wipe mechanism in the boot. Any a little more competent than me with that search engine. i've tried a couple of times to find it since and i'm obviously a numpty

can you get a pic of how you've fitted the dv? it only sits in the TIP to shove the boosted air back into the inlet tract so a reducer wouldn't hurt, but if it really is too tight a fit then i'd like to see it so i can offer some better advice

@ rhyso cheers mr

@ topher
basicly the holes are the wrong way round on my logpro povspec ebay special t.i.p. It should be  dv on the left and the round thingy on the right. the way the holes are on it, it would be round thingy then dv. As you look at the engine from left to right. And i don't have any silicone hosing as to swap them around at least one of the hoses would need to be longer. Think i'm just gonna order some silicone hosing when i get paid and swap then dv and the round thingy around. or if that doesn't pan out i'll get a reducer.

I'll have a crack at sorting some pics tomorrow but gotta go see my best mates new baby.

What is that round thingygummy for anyway?

It's an AGU if it makes any odds.

ahh gotcha.. yeah i considered doing it that way round when i put an aum tip on my old AGU but in the end i just plonked them in as they would sit on an aum... i dont recall having to extend any hoses though? which one is it that doesn't reach? A picture will probably reveal all
