I could not do much with her on the day I picked her up as it was a Friday. I did take her for a long drive that weekend to the north of the Netherlands but it was wet wet wet... so could not drive with the windows down and listen to the car growl...

I picked mine up a couple of days before the F1 at Silverstone, so I had an excuse to take it for a long trip

i had to pick mine up from taunton and i live in north ayrshire so i had to drive it over 400miles home, was the easiest journey i have driven on the motorways (i use the motorways alot going up and down the country) so relaxing and smooth
Sad that i have not got my Astra VXR Nurburgring anymore but well happy with my Mk6 GTi, much better car

ha ha ha yup the operating word is 'instructions'... in my case, it would be 'DRIVE!' which could mean a lot of things, actually... a holiday in Spain, shopping in London, sending her to the beauty salon in Paris... yup... luckily the day I picked up the car, she was outstation... and when she got back, I had business trips... muawahahahahahha... and since I am at work, she is not reading what I am typing... ha ha ha

  • It's here!

Hmm hadn't thought about this, but will most likely pick up from central londom then drive it down south to roads around surrey.

Prob take it easy to start with as I don't fancy stacking it day 1, what with new rubber, new brakes etc.
