« on: 16 August 2009, 20:04 »
A while back I spent about £80 on elitecarcare and got myself set up with as you've probably guessed, detailing kit :)

Anyway - the buffer I bought was a load of poo! So i'm considering buying a new bit of kit...here is what I already have and what I will be getting:

Already Have
- Elite Snow Foam
- Poorboys Shampoo
- Clay Kit (Already done!)
- Wash Mit
- Drying Cloth
- Window Cleaner and rain-x with cloth
- AutoGlym Wax

To buy...
- Kestrel DAS-6 With extras

- Dodo Juice (rainforest rub)

- Foam Wax Applicator Pad

I cannot really think of anything else, if anyone can please let me know!
Also, if you think there's a better product for similar price, do also let me know :)

look on the bottom of the bottle... the product codes will be different... working out which one is which is nigh on impossible!!

tip: once you find out write in big f*** off permanent marker which one is which.. ie. heavy or light cut...

could you also post up on here as my product codes have worn off my bottles after a spillage and I need to re-mark them... tar very muchly!  :nerd:

ahaha i'm a bit of a dick you know.

Anyway, they both have sticky labels on the bottom which clearly state which is which  :embarassed: :embarassed: :embarassed: :embarassed: :embarassed:

Super Finish = PO106FA
Final Fish = PO85RD

Hope that helps :)

i can never work out menz polishes and in which order they should be used... it's not exactly 'clear' is it?

well I was under the same impression.

There's always these different cut levels and different cutting pads.

Anyway, before I actually bought this kit, (I have the sampler kit here: http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/polishing/polish/menzerna-250ml/menzerna-250ml-sampler-kit/prod_220.html)

I found this guide that shows you which to use!

http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/images/misc/dapolishing.pdf

Page 19/55 is what you want! I will be giving this a go tomorrow, look out for some before and afters and also tape pictures! the bonnet is a MESS and i'm going to be taping half off and seeing what a difference  I can make.
