Maybe the battery powered tools are ok, but air tools aren't?
I was hoping someone would know the answer, as i'm about to do a polo suspension soon, and i'll probably be using the gun, well not probably but definately

i fitted weitecs last week, use an air gun for the top nut.. no issues at all

Your going to need an impact or air gun.

Do these guns damage the shock absorber?
When i bought a weitec kit from c&r years ago, the warranty said it would be void if air tools were used?

Well I would never use them on the top nuts myself.

I wasn't saying not to do it. I was just wondering why c&r said it would void the waranty?

I've used Mark's electric impact gun on mine a few times and had no issues at all, in fact I want one but can't find anywhere that sells the same one.

No idea it's a black gun shaped thing with naff all written on it. Just has 1/4" drive on the end.

All the ones I see in Screwfix etc are like cordless drills and cost about £100, Mark said he paid £40 for his one. It work soff a fag lighter or clips on your car battery. It's flipping brilliant!
