New guy from Belgium
« on: 13 August 2009, 10:19 »
Haaaay guys!

I'm Kenny, 25year old, living in Heffen (Belgium)

Few months ago, bought myself my first GTI. It's a MKIII 2.0 16V.

I saw a lot of GTI's, a lot of pieces of crap but this one.... . Completely original, the way I like it.

Changed some things;

Removed the backseats, Placed a Wiechers rollcage.
Sebring Exhaust, full system.
Weitec coilovers.
BB5 LeMans, 17" x 7,5" wide, et35 with Toyo Porxxes 4 195/40 R17. (Toyo sucks, I'm gonna buy myself some 215/40 tyres)
Grill no logo.
Placed all the original logos back.
Bonrath Air intake.

It's a keeper. Lots of fun, best car I ever had.
Future plans; chip (more torque) and just enjoy the car .

My previous "project" and daily car .

To many things that has been changed to call up, so just some pictures...

Started original, bougth from an older man..

I built it, I broke it down... 7years of fun.

Sold in pieces...

In meanwhile I had an other project. My first diesel .

1.9TDI, afn engine code, 110hp/235Nm.

Didn't change a lot, Weitec coilovers, first I had the RS4 wheels in 19"(with 215/35 R19 tyres), few months later Golf V GTI wheels in 18"(with 215/35 R18 tyres)

Also a BMC air filter, removed the EGR system and the cat, and got a chip. 145hp/330Nm.

Buuuuuut... Diesel isn't something for me. When the best comes, you need to change gear.

After 1,5year, I sold the b*stard, in one piece. Lucky me.
