What spec of oil did you put in there. I know mines not keen on the 5-30 semi synth I have put in mine at the moment and is noisy from startup where it wasnt beforehand. I would change it but I cant be bothered and im too skint lol (the oil was left over from my last car so was effectively sorta free). If the engines done big miles I wouldnt go sticking oil in that costs £24 per litre as thats likely to do more harm than good (good stuff cleans deposits off which tend to be holding age old gaskets together in my experience) and like the oil in mine may be too thin to work in a worn engine effectively.
