Basically, Ive had enaught of my clapped out, dented n scratched, faided paint 1.6 CL crock of crap. So im getting ready to make the jump to a 8V and carry the parts accross.

So heres the deal, Ive got between ?500 and ?1000 to spend on a LATE MODEL (F reg or later) Mk2 golf, Must be in good condition and running, Preforbally Black, White or Silver. Who ever can find me a car that meets the spec will have a pint, on me, the next time we all meet up.

Thankyou for jacking my thread already  lol

Basically, My Mk2 is looking real scruffy, The doors are dented to f**k, The shaved rear pannel has cracked and f**ked up, The arches are rusted away, The bonnits f**ked, The grills cracked, all the paints oxidised. So im looking at two options:

 - Buy a 8V and carry the mods over

 - Quit the VW scene and buy a Honda and start a fresh.

Dont worrie, I dont think i will be getting a honda after all...Or a 8V for that matter. I just spent ?400 on my CL
