wow not updated this thread for a while  :shocked:

sooo, since my last post i have.....

fitted a 280mm momo team, had one in my Rado and loved it so had to get another for my mk2

experimented with different wheels  :laugh::

with the car well over 200k miles now the bodywork was starting to show its age, especially after a careless delivery driver took a dislike to my wing:

got a tip off about an straight oak green mk2 in a local breakers, so went to have a look and ended up coming a way with quite a bit  :grin::

my new pile of bits

found some infinity speakers fitted my mk1 project (RIP) and thought they looked about the same size as the standard dash speakers in the mk2 so fitted them...im not overly fussed by sound systems but they are certainly a big improvement:

swapped my original worn out clocks for the 160mph 16v ones i got from the scrappie....final mileage on the original clocks 203614   :shocked: :

new clocks on a lowly 168745   :laugh::

changed the metal strip below the grill as it was black one in the correct colour also from the breaker, only minor but looks loads better:

and got a big package in the post:

coilovers fitted

before....

after....

changed the rear bumper as mine had been painted badly and the paint was flaking off:

also changed my 2 dented front wings for 2 straight ones:

my front bumper was also nailed where it had been riveted all along the top so that got changed too:
