you can actually line up the holes on the disc and put a long thin screwdriver or simaler through and smash out that way, saves removing disc..... doing mine tommorow

ok grabbed them from the back with some needle nose pliers and gave'em a wiggle and they popped out, gave'em a clean up , cleared the codes but still the same error signal keeps coming back. So think i'm going to have to replace them both.

My handbrake light is also stuck, on i took the handbrake cover off and pushed the switch down manually but this didnt turn if it off, is the warning light triggered by something else?

gtiscott were did you get your sensors from and how much if you dont mind me asking.

cheers all

The handbrake light is also the brake fluid reservoir level sensor.
Disconnect the plug on the reservoir cap and see if the light goes out.

read on a couple of old posts that the hand brake warning light could be on because I have both rear sensors showing as faulty.

have you checked the resovoir cap has the little cover keeping the needle thinging from poping up this will cause hand brake light to come on

Im not sure that is correct. The resevoir cap cover keeps the stick away from the metal contacts, whilst not letting the stick come right out and so let dirt\moisture in. It's preventing the stick from making a connection. Only if the brake fluid level drops does it cause the stick to drop lower and therefore trigger the brake light.

Rear ABS sensor- Align the wheel nut hole with the sensor and stick a screwdriver in there and wack away, such an easy way of doing it, dosn't knock the speed sensor and saves you from taking the caliper bolts off.
