MK3 Scorpion 915 Alarm and Battery
« on: 09 August 2009, 08:27 »
I have disconnected my battery and on reconnection the alarm goes off and will not stop through use of remote.  The only way to stop the alarm sounding is to disconnect the battery again.  I have managed to get the car started without the alarm going off by leaving the ignition in the on position then reconnecting the battery.  This works fine however when you stop the engine and try to restart the alarm goes off again!  Very frustrating.  Is there a procedure I should go through key ignition remote or should I rebot the alarm???  Help

Sorry to dig up an old thread but this is exacty whats happening to me.

Battery went dead over xmas but since charging it and reconnecting the alarm sounds and will not switch off with the key fob. Its a scorpian alarm but the only way to stop the alarm is to disconnect the battery again.

Has anyone got any idea how to solve this? Or how to disconnect the alarm altogether?

nmccmr - can I ask how you solved the problem if you can remember please?
