goodyear f1 assymetric

just got four new F1 tyres on my edition 30, have read all the posts about how bad the dunlpp sport maxx are and now realise what a crap tyre is was.
first impressions are much quieter, steering more direct and drove home last night where I floor it in a fast bend, the dunlops would scrabble and loose grip with the traction control comming on. The goodyears didnt loose grip and no traction control.
Best £420 ive spent

Dont forget to give them a couple of hundred miles to wear in :wink:

That is really cheap though... I paid £520 fitted and thought that was a decent price. Might want to check to make sure you got good stock too.

£105 a corner from Teesdale tyre & auto centre in Stockton in Cleveland fitting and balancing. Thought it was good price.

Yes, there are plenty of pretty convincing copies of these tyres coming in from China - buyer beware!

I don't know where mine were made in, how do you tell? But the difference un the cars handling, accelerartion and braking was night and day... :-) love em... But have now a pinch in one sidewall that will prolly fail an mot.... So another tyre (Again) needed :(

yeah they are made in germany and the tyre dealer is not the sort to sell replicas.
