Mmm much nicer than the originals I think, the give the car a much classier look tbh I really don't like the original ones at all.  Carbon grey is nice but I like the deep pearl black best but then I would as I chose it ha ha

Which wheels are you refering to as the 'originals'? My Interlagos, or the Monzas?

Oh yeah sorry, when I said originals I meant your Interlagos they just don't float my boat (no offense meant) you know it would be a boring old forum if we all bought the same car with the same options.  It is a great motor tho isn't it?

Lol, no worries, each to his own and all that  I couldn't help thinking, though, why is it that we are so obsessed about wheels? I mean they're just a set of 9" long (in the case of 18" rims) continous levers that provide the car with forward motion. Why do we get so worked up about what they look like (and how big they are). Ah, the male psyche...

I know, but I have never really understood our (men's) fascination for wheels. I get all the other stuff (lights = eyes, grill = snarling mouth, engine = speed, rear lights = arse, etc.), but if wheels are feet - which I don't believe are of particular interest to us - whe do we go on about them so much?

for me wheels are the biggest single visual modification you can make to the car and can make or break a car's overall appearance

On mine the visual impact going from the standard wheels to the Anniversary ones was night and day !

(and no I DO NOT have a foot fettish lol)

As far as I'm concerned, its about reducing un-sprung weight.......but it'll be a braver man than me that suggests this may be relevant to women & shoes

I caught something on the telly last night that said we men are inherently interested in things that move. That is why boys will pick the car or train to play with and girls will choose a doll, which resembles a human. They even did an experiment with monkeys to rule out social conditioning. Something to do with the evolved need to track moving objects when our ancestors were hunting.

So I guess a woman will look at the front 'face' of a car to decide whether she likes it's styling, whereas a man will look at the big wheels - I'll let you choose an anatomical analogy for those.

For me, I like wheels because they go round and are shiny.
