Soon to be GTI MKV owner saying hello
« on: 05 August 2009, 18:22 »
Hi all

I've just put a deposit down on a 2005 (05) Diamond Black GTI and cant wait for Friday.

Its got full leather interior and 40k on clock. Certainly feels more solid that my Z4 which I sold yesterday.

Im going to try resist with modding for now, but im not sure how long that will last.

I'll post some pictures once ive picked it up on Friday

Oh and why are the dealers so insistant on GAP insurance and Auto Glym protection.

They wanted £750 for both  NO THANKS

Dan

Welcome along, the Mod bug is hard to resist, especially if your looking on Mk5 Golf gti forums

Cracking car and you wont be sad letting your Z4 go.

First impressions, WOW what a car. (can't imagine what it would be like mapped)

Feels so much more solid than my previous cars.

Here are a few pics but the paint work certainly needs some treatment with swirls and scratches.
