Just got my Mk6, OH MY GOD

Hi, I ordered my Mk6 a few months back and got it Friday just gone. I ordered it with the following detail:

18" Monza Shadows
DVD with Dynaaudio system thingy with 6 CD auto changer and sat nav/traffic
Gas Discharge Xenon headlights
Black pearl paint
Phone bluetooth preperation
Sunroof
Luxury pack
Black leather throughout
etc

I can honestly say the car goes like a bullet, I've never known a car that' so easy on the gears yet goes like stink when you put your foot down. Amazing car.

I'm pissed off as I didn't see the option for parking sensors and a camera that looks out the back for you, however, maybe if you're driving a Golf GTi and you need those things you're not driving it properly, reassurance anyone?!!!

I literally can't fault this car, I knew how good it was before I got it but Im still surprised, everytime I get in it, how ridiculously good it is.

I chose not to go for the DSG thing as in my opinion I just want a manual car which I think is more wholesome!!!

Well, just wanted to share that with you all, I had to join this site as I just wanted to tell everyone how bloody good this car is!

Yeah I saw those creaking posts, I havent noticed anything and where I live is like a roadbump mine field. I'll have to have a listen out next time in the car which is in about an hour.

My only complaint is that the bluetooth system that comes with the car, albeit very good, is only compatible with rSAP bluetooth system phone handsets. So my BlackBerry doesnt work and nor do most phones that arent Nokia. Why oh why do VW do things like this?

Anyway, upgrading my phone as a result to a BlackBerry 9000 which is the only one with rSAP bluetooth.

Not sure if anyone else has come across this problem with VW's in general?

lucky so and so, i have now been waiting over 13 weeks for mine and still not a whisper of it even being built.  after reading your post though i can't wait even more to get into mine!  get some pics up if you can as i also have ordered black and can't get enough of seeing it!!

Congrats, i have got to wait till next week and its killing me!!!!!! Never seen one in the flesh with the xenons but they look awesome in the pics!

Hopefully see some pics of your car on here soon.

Hi.  Im a newbie here.  Picked my GTI up end of May.  Awesome fun to drive.
I have the 18 inch, sensores, reversing camera, Reflex Silver, full leather, upgraded stereo to I havnt got a clue, blah blah.

Great fun to drive.  How do you put pictures up here?
