Hello, Just got my first MK3 GTI

Hello everyone, I've just bought my new R reg GTI MK3. Which is a nice upgrade from my 1.4 K reg Golf Driver. 5 Gears... WOW. Power steering... OMFG.

It does need a but of work to get it looking crisp, and the first thing I need to find is a new exterior door strip, and one end is hanging off. Gear box is a little squeeky too.

I've just signed up to this forum and will be searching older posts like a good forum poster, but if anyone can give me direction on where to look that would be great...

Welcome mate. . get some pictures up.  :smiley: where you from?


head over to the mk3 section and do a search for anything you want to know. if you can't find your answer post a new thread.  :smiley:


i changed my gear box oil nice and smooth now. could help.
