lol fair enough.

Go find a big deserted car park for her to practice manual. Get her to the use the stick if she doesnt like the paddles and practice engine braking by dropping a gear. You should be engine braking anyway in a car. Get her to go through the gears an drive about

A little tip

While in manual (when you have overidden it by tapping a paddle) and you want D or S back (which ever you were in before you took over) hold the paddle for a few secs and it goes back to auto

If she had an auto freelander, cant see why she cant adjust to the DSG tbh. Theres always Public transport if she doesnt like it .

Keep it, Same as my wife at the start, now i have to fight for the keys!

lol
I'm guessing the difference for her is the way in which the DSG delivers power, the freeloader has never done that and braking is easy you take your foot of the accelerator and the weight of it instantly slows it down.

Offer to buy her a ford ka or something similarly sh!t, she'll soon learn to adapt to the dsg!!
Seriously though, she need's to give it a chance before giving up so soon, my wife couldn't master my old gti at first but was an avid paddle user before long..... persevere or get rid.... of her!!
