HELP? Who has an anniversary with original badges front and back? info needed!

HI all, just got back from my dealers after everywhere else has not come up with anything trying to get a new anni red gti badge for mine but they are obsolete
Anyways, you can still but the front and i want to know if they are the same size? as i can get a front one and get rid of the tabs and double sided tape (i new watching Bluepeter would come in useful one day)
But just want to confirm it is the same size.
Also it's only an 8valve so no 16v badge to consider.

I think the rear is bigger plus looks a lot different.

Rear one is bigger then.

nar the fron is the bigger
 of the flat bit on the top, there is about 1"1/2 difference
