Sportline interior
« on: 30 July 2009, 14:36 »
Hi.
I'm going to replace my hood and interior over the winter and re-spray the car.
Should I strip the roof and interior before having the spray job?? Stupid question I guess!
Also as this is my first restoration and my first golf......should i try and get the sportline interior second hand or go for new??? any ideas how much£££ and where to obtain???
Yes I know....I dont want to know much do I!!!!
However I am new to this site and you lot are getting me excited with all your knowledge!!
I must admit, most of your cars are so much sexier than mine....so you have set a standard of where I want my black cab to reach......in time that is....

I think the interior is standard.A kind of light blue with blow burns in the seats!! I would like to keep it original but I think custom is the way forward for me....
Cheers for the info.I'll ask Joe and check out the link you sent.

Aaaah yeah! I did see that post when I joined. Not sure I want to pay that kind of money for red interior though, Not that theres anything wrong with red of course.I was thinking more of a lighter colour, plus the postage from Marbella could be pricey.Where can I find Joe then mate.??aaaaahhhh I'm getting to grips with the site now! found him! cheers!
