hello there. iv got the tingle for another mk2, owned 1 about a year ago, never should have got rid of it and the fact that a mate has it pains me even more!!bggghhhh!! she was a mk2 1.8 driver on twin choke webbers, thursty but fun is about the only way to describe her.haha. anyway im after doing a 'project' and been thinking about this for a while, i know its been done before so nothing new but really fancy going down the lines of say a 130 tdi from polo gt or vrs fabia as do nearly 450miles per week, it would be a second car so wouldnt all been done in this 1, but would return freaking amazing mpg in true mk2 stylee. thought id join a forum see if anyone has or is in the process of doing this conversion with any pointers etc etc. yet to really dig about so here goes....
