Sill covers
« on: 29 July 2009, 08:17 »
Hmmm, why are VW so slow at releasing basic accessories? I bought premium sill covers for my Scirocco straight away but it doesn't look like VW have anything for the GTI yet?

There are some older sill covers floating around ebay but i'd like to get some asap and i'd like the correct ones, come on VW!

Won't be putting kick plates on this time. I have bought some of those little metal inserts for the seat height adjuster handle instead for a change, I think having both on would look OTT.

Lockwood will be releasing their MkVI sill plate the end of this month - it protects both the shallow and wider lips in the sill area. Their MkV version was about £26, MkVI expected to be about the same.  A variety of logos will be available, but not 'Golf' as thats tradmarked.
