How much ya selling for? I won't be buying yet anyway, in a few weeks. :)

Do VR6's have low down grunt?

If i go with the 16v i can get it in a few weeks, the VR6 would have to be in a couple of months & i'm impatient so.... :laugh:

Would i be able to find a nice 16v for under a grand?

Maybe but it will have had a hard life, you have more chance of getting a nice 8v for that budget and not a lot slower.

Cheers mate, an 8v it will be then, as i said before, i've owned an Mk4 8v & didn't find it bad really.  :smiley:

Trust me nothing wrong with a 8v, you will or should get a nice one for your budget.

Ive not long sold my 16v mk3 it was a great little car and it would give most modern day cars a good run for their money if not beat em.I have since bought a mk3 VR6 which is a awsome car,awsome sound and really is a pleasure to drive even though it likes a drink.. :grin: If I was you why dont you go test drive all 3 the 8v,16v and the VR6 and see what you like.Im not a betting man but my money would be on the VR6 winning you over.... :wink:

from 8 to 16 and now vr6, i have to say best is vr6, ok it drinks a little but that depends on how hard you put your foot down, i personally think its same as the 16v on fuel wise but some might say vr6 drinks more, but any how, get a vr you will never regret it  :grin:
