i fitted my merc injectors on my valver today i also fitted new seals from gsf when pushing them back into the manifold they didnt take much effort to get them pushed in is this normal coz getting the originals out was alot harder

No, they don't need much. But for the price, I would have bought VAG ones. In fact, writing this down has just reminded me. I have!
Just go to go and pick them up.

As DPB said, the injectors are push fit. They are not involved during the combustion stroke - just when the piston is moving downwards - so it pulls the injector in anyway.

I would still replace the seals with VAG ones, you don't want them too loose a fit.
