To be honest mate I just rubbed it on with a sponge then went away doin something else , came back and it looked good ..cheap  too !

Theres been alot of these posts recently, as i've always suggested...give them a spray with some matt black spray paint....thats what i did and it looks fantastic!! :D just make sure you mask it off properly and do thin even layers and your sorted!! its the cheapest way get two cans (£10 Max!) spend a day spraying and your sorted for a couple of years!!

i took all my trim off and painted it black then laquered it, its lasted a year so far.  Lot less work in the long run and looks better :laugh:

I used boiled linseed oil from Focus and it's lasting really well, best results so far :smiley:

once boiled how did you apply it on to the bumper's ect did you just put itn and leave i or did you rub it of after some time??

It comes already boiled mate.

Just rubbed it on and then wiped the excess off and it really brought the black back into the trim and hasn't faded  :wink:
