Bad idea, sunroofs!

Yesterday morning, warm and muggy, car soon heated up once I got on the road.  Opened sunroof.

Got to work, parked car and forgot all about it.

Yes, this is getting predictable.  Even when my colleague came to my office to ask if I had a waterproof she could borrow to go check on her horse in the teeming rain, I said that I didn't even have one in the car, sorry, without thinking about it.

I wasn't actually sitting in a puddle because the suede leather seat and back inserts soak up the water a bit like cloth.  Might have been better to have had a puddle, at least I could have mopped it up with something.  But I only had a duster to lay over the seat, and by the time I got home I had a very wet backside!  Left the car in the garage overnight with the sunroof still open, but it was still a bit damp this morning.

On the other hand, the aircon is shot, and without the sunroof I'd just be a little spot of grease on the driver's seat.

Pesky sunroof's, what they all about ! Yeah also central locking is a bad idea too, can you imagine leaving your car and forgetting to lock it ? also imagine what would happen if you got distracted and forgot to close your driver side door then started driving away ? I say do away with doors too.

The sunroof is a superb piece of kit.  Turn the little roof sited knob anti-clockwise and it opens on the slide, turn the other way and it tilts.  It is all done very smoothly and quietly and there is a nice little blind that pulls over in the same material as the roof.  The sunroof itself is a nice smoky black and against my pearl black paint can hardly be seen.  I really rate this item it's been great today with the weather being so hot!!

If you definitely want it, tell them now.  I'm not absolutely sure, but it could be that once the car is locked in the system by being given a build week, it's too late.

Yeah if you want to add the sunroof do it now before you get a build week.  I tried to add the luxury pack a week after placing my order and it was too late.  The car had been locked into the system with the additions I'd opted for at the time.  Mind you I'm glad I didn't get the lux pack now as it doesn't have the electric fold mirrors on lock up that I'd hoped for, so saved myself £150 or somesuch sum.
