Imagine it this way.

Think of trying to buy a dodo, yes the bird that is dead.

Then double how impossible that is.

And thats how hard it is to get this bumper in the uk.

So is it a factory bumper then.

i THOUGHT it was a custom jobbie. And not from the US either.

As i saw it in PVW once, along with some nice custom side skirts.

But it did say that it wasnt made any more.

I didnt think there was a us spec rear bumper, that was any different to uk one.

Hard to see but I never knew you could get them without the bumper.

ok differences between us and uk bumpers....

the us spec bumpers are longer on the tops than the uk bumoers (as in it stick out further), the front come with side markers built in, and no plate recess, the front comes with a different front lip, very much like a vento splitter but it fits properly, the rear is longer on the top (as in it sticks out further) than the uk item, and the lower lip is one peice lip, but rounded off to match the front, and is attatched to the rear bumpe very much like the uk and is not a seperate item.

the red one pictued has a standard us spec bumper, with the swage line removed, and the exhaust cut out smoothed using the same process you would use to smooth a uk soec one, cut out the right bit of plasit from another bumper, and plastic weld it in.

you wont get the rear splitter without the rear bumper.

check ebay.de there is a guy who sells them on there.

jon.
