I'm toying with a few Alan,

LM's think they would have to be 19's though and also don't want to slam this car, liking the comfort compared to the mk4.




Black with silver lip CH's obviously only in USA can you drive something so slammed, againw ouldnt be this low! Possibly have to be 19's but may get away with 18's




Or these  if I can find/afford! but in silver or dark, not red  my balls are to small to do something like that! Think there 19's though aswell

That last pic is the kind of look you're going for isn't Sambo? Looks really good with the satin black bits, agree with you though that the red wheels are maybe a step too far!

Reckon that the black CH's or even some black monza's (detroits?) would be awesome on your car mate.

Alan,

Theres a set of 4 vdestrian tyres with 7mm tread going on mk5golfgti.co.uk for your monza's for £150!

May be worth snapping them up to get you by until you can find the wheels you want rather than settling for something you may not be 100% happy with, also you will get more the the monza's with decent rubber so will pay for itself if you sell the 17" monzas once you sort some new wheels!

Hummm. Ill be keeping the Monzas as they are kurbed to sh!t so wont fetch much, just going to leave them in the garage until the sad day comes and the MK5 moves on and I will put them back on. Im still on the LM boat at the moment . . .

Heres the only black MK5 I could find with LMs on . . . ..

Yer that looks mean  but there 19's I think , and it makes all the differance IMO..


Wouldn't mind a set of them myself, don't think I could afford genuine 19's though! wander what the rep quality is like?

19s are too big for me. Iv spoken to a few people with reps and they all seem be pretty decent. Tophs are reps and is selling but again they are 19

This is up for debate, I haven't changed the suspension on it but several people have asked if mine is lowered as it looks low AND when at Brands last month compared it to another MK5 on 17s and mine was a good inch and a bit lower 

Anyone heard off / used these lot before? http://www.merseyspeed.co.uk/ - I wouldn't trust a scouser as far as I can thrown him.
