Headlight removal
« on: 23 July 2009, 00:13 »
I have some replacement headlights and spot lights, I managed to get the grill off and headlight out but the new lights I have are not with the metal back plate so I need to remove this from the original headlight and refit to the replacement - not entiry sure how this is done - there are 2 screws which move the headlight (for alignment I assume) but the others dont have a head on them ..?  Trying not to break anything  :nerd:

I MAY be wrong but they sound like mk1 head lights to me. I have had many replacement head lights for the two mk 2's i have owned and they have alway's come with the back plates.
Who / where did you get them?
Baz.

Yeah thats right. They just 'pop off' the adjustable ball heads, then you move to the new frame.
