Is it worth cleaning the car in this weather?
« on: 19 July 2009, 11:53 »
I'm getting withdrawal symptoms coz of this weather! Just can't see the point in cleaning it when a shower half an hour later and a drive through a few puddles will mess it all up again anyway. I need to know we're having at least 5 days of decent weather before I'll bother getting the gear out....anybody else feel this way or do you say sod it and do it anyway?!

When it's like this I just tend to hoover the interior and wash the car...

Can't be arsed waxing when I know fine it'll rain half way through...  hope the good weather returns soon..

I was out in the rain yesterday morning washing mine

You can't beat a nice shiney car no matter what the weather, and even if it rains just after, sit back and look at the beads

I'll get my coat hahaha

The rain managed to hold off yesterday so got my car washed, polished and waxed with all the trim done. Looks amazing and now it's raining, it looks even more amazing with the beads!

It's driving it that is going to make it dirty..

I wash my car religously no matter the weather, and tend to resent taking it out of the garage if its raining and then rearrange my day. lol.

Like I said to a neighbour who reckoned it was a waste of time washing my car as it would only get dirty again, "did you wipe your arse after having a dump this morning?"
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.
