Im not sure the purple would look that good on the mk6 as i don't think it works that well on the mk5.

never seen that before but i LOVE it! i'd have had my R32 in that colour over pearl black any day of the week.

Can you actually order anything but the standard colours in the UK?

I'd be all over that dark yellow like a rash, if I thought you could order it here.
I have a bit of a 'thing' for yellow cars...especially those with some red trim!

Not unless you order an import from Germany. Shame as i can think of a few colours i would rather have than the monotone UK colours.

So if you wanted a Mk6 GTI in, say, Ginster Yellow, you'd need to order through a German dealer?
I'm assuming you could order a UK spec car in every other respect, RHD, just spec a German option colour?

My German isn't great...but I don't see a 5 door option on the German configurator.


I would spend £1400 on something I was going to see and love every day, over some of the overpriced options anyday.

Anyone done it? Or know anyone that has?
