bloody hell, 9 pages of discussion on some rear lights, then someone posts a pic of an actual modded mk6 and it gets called slated.

thought this was a mod thread, not a what little OEM part can i replace on my golf with another OEM part thread

All indications are that this mod is from build week 45, i.e. Nov 2nd. And I haven't been able to confirm it is the same for RHD cars - I had a conversation with Hella in Germany and they are getting back to me next week.

Doubt it, take a close look at the small print at the bottom of the volkswagen.de configurator:

"UK customers: we pretend to like you, but the reality is that we have never completely forgiven you for the thrashing you gave us in 1944. We continue to sell you our cars, but only insofar as we make money out of you. However, there is no way we are going to make a special RHD version of these LED rear lights for you, so get lost"
