You won't get anywere with VW customer service complaining about the LED lights its normal for VW to change spec every 6 months or so, they did just that with the mk5 GTI, removed things added new etc, etc. They may even just say to you its a change to co-inside with the price rise.

Why is the owner using his GTI to carry 300kg of cement around?

i'm all for bigger alloys but as frog said it looks like the klumps are sitting in the car.  the wheels don't fit properly in the arches.  plus agree with kev - no xenons = not right.

... and I've just realised those are Bentley Continental wheels (or imitation, which would be even worse). Sad

mmmm, big wheels . Loading the car up with 300kg of cement only lowers the back - tried that

Another mod I have discovered whilst browsing a German forum is to replace your tailgate gas dampers with ones from a Skoda:

Gasdruckdämpfer p/n: 6YO 827 550 C

They are identical in shape/size/fittings to the Golf but have a slightly higher preload and will push the tailgate open when you pop it with the remote. Handy if you're at Tescos, parked far away from the door (thanks to the mums/kids/differently-abled), your hands are full of shopping and it's pouring with rain.
