hmm - not sure... the mats look very light, almost grey, vs the rest of the trim.  perhaps the flash too bright?

Yeah, the flash was a little too bright... but its not that light grey in reality. Looks fine naturally and I like the GTI logo in red. It blends with the plastic bits which is grey as well. And yes you can order them from your stealers.

And yes its for LHD configuration since I am in the Netherlands...

I heard that they are not Plug & Play, you need some kind of a adapter (don't now how you call that in Englisch) to connect...........i cannot confirm that.

The computer might show blown bulbs if the current drawn by the LED's is less. I'm sure VAG-COM can address that.

That's if they become available for RHD cars, of course. Otherwise you'll be swapping the fog and reverse lamps over.

OK, thanks for the warning. I'm going to my dealer in a few minutes to see about the price, but knowing them, they won't be able to confirm whether or not you need an adapter (I enjoy showing them that I know more about the lates VW accessories than they do, though, lol )

These have to be an added extra at cost when they appear on the configurator etc, if VW charge for a flat tyre indicator now, then they are gonna charge for these.

Just back from the dealer and - surprise, surprise - they don't have the reference number on their database yet  The standard lights are about £200 for all four parts, but he couldn't tell me how much the LEDs would be (I would guess about £250-270). He said that VAG COM could probably sort out any OBC glitches associated with the LEDs.

Disappointed
