FYI

Just found this thread over on DW...  it's worth a look and follow the thread if you use product like Z8/Dodo Red Mist etc as a topup to your wax...

Science, 'innit!

Very interesting read. Shocking what the sealant does to the wax! I've never used anything like that to finish off a waxing though.

I assume the spray sealants they are discussing differ to something like say, jetseal 109?

If you read the whole thread and replies, it's not as scary as you think. Dodo Juice have explained and cleared up a few of the "worries".

If the products are used as intended i.e. don't spray onto an un-cured layer of wax, then there really isn't any problem.

So Dodo are basically saying that because he's applied it so thickly, it hasn't actually cured in the time he left it before using the spray?

momo: could you explain the difference between these spray on sealants and the buff on sealants like jetseal please? :) I'm a bit confused!

Yip,  agree with that so far,  I'll follow the thread to see what the outcome is....  quite interesting eh.
At time of posting this topic Dodo or other manufacturers hadn't had any input,  so it's now good to see their opinions also...

Looked through the whole thread and I think the bottom line is that none of the products tested appear to have been used according to makers instructions, interesting if a bit missleading
