Aftermarket exhausts on small bumpers?

they do stick out a fair bit, this is mine, i got mine for £30 off a 8v gti which was originally small bumper but had big bumpers fitted but for the price i paid i aint gonna complain



That looks very similar to the Scorpian I just bought, what make it yours?

If the length is an issue, cut it off at box, cut off the excess tailpipe and weld back on.

I've had a look at the tail pipe and it looks like Its got baffles on the inside, if you cut the tailpipes at the box would that not render the baffles useless? I'm really not clued up on exhausts as this is the first aftermarket one ive bought.

I reversed into a kerb which has buckled my downpipe, so I'm using it as an excuse to pretty much get a whole new system.  Anyone know if this exhaust is the same one as pictured above?

its a sportex backbox, im going custom anyway so the tip just meets the valance

if you just want a free exhaust for a mk2 give me a shout...got one doing nowt...mid section from a Scorpion system and backbox is a standard...its free if you wanna collect.

No it's not, but it's very similar. The one in the pic is a twin oval tailpipe, but they don't make it anymore. The one that you have linked to is a twin round tailpipe. Like i said though, they look very similar in size.
