it doesnt look like that now though!
i had a crash and now its standard and got bits missing!!
dont get me wrong, i loved the front of the car before and had no plans to do anything to it, but im not paying at least 100 notes just for the lights, thats before the spraying, lol
it looks a mess at the minute and my own taste is really against the standard gti lights and front end.
plus the vento front reminds me of the corrado front, which i really liked as ive had a rado before!

Believe me its a dead ringer for you! Even says something stupid!

Its not another SHEEP joins the FLOCK.

As lets count the amount of mk3 golfs here, with standard front ends, rear ends, and generally no money spent on them, but owned by people who aspire and talk day in day out of these big modifications.

Then lets count the amount of cars on the forum with vento fronts?

Seems the FLOCK on here, is people who got a mk3 gti 8v, joined the club after googling the grille badge, and then chats all day long about cheapo coilovers, and dewipering the rear, as they can do them with the dinner money the wife allows them.

Well Mikester as you have not been here long and are also not that observant I can assure you that there are or have been many vento fronts!

To be fair I partly agree with Mike

I've not seen many modded Mk3 Golfs on here, most of them appear to be bog standard GTI 8v's

There's only a couple of Mk3's I know of with Vento front ends, everybody else seems too hooked on those Hella quad lamps (this is not a dig at anyone btw)

And all people seem to go on about are dewipering their tailgate, aero wiper conversions, or cheap crap coilovers that last about 6 months

In my opinion people aren't motivated enough to mod their cars. They'd rather sit on an internet forum talking about modding their cars, then a month later the work still hasn't been carried out.

What also pisses me off is people who can't use the search. Every week somebody asks what size grommet is needed to dewiper the tailgate, what the 'hottuning' coilovers are like, or what parts are needed for a Vento front end conversion. It's been asked loads of times so do a quick search and find your answer rather than posting yet another thread. Again, this is not a dig at anyone, I just feel people need to stop being so lazy!

Dont try and be elite.

Fact of the matter is, if people ask for HELP, dont slate them with your opinions.

My OPINION is yuor car is a skip, and absolutly horrible. But you wouldnt like to hear that would you?

And if someone asked how to fit a gash bodykit, you would be in there telling them how.

But when it comes to something else that you dont have, you have 100 reasons to post bad things.

:undecided: Mike, everyone is entitled to their own opinion tbh.

I like the Vento front ends, but dont think it would suit my car. I wouldnt however go about slagging it off saying it looks sh!t.
