Reckon they'd be perfect for a track setup as the car did feel like a go kart around the bends ( I still have them just in case). Knew there was mixed reviews about them even when I purchased, talks of harsh ride etc. The golf is my daily driver, took a chance, lasted about 5 months on them. Car was in the air more than on the ground on the bumpy back roads, just too bumpy in the end and ended up having to replace a lot of parts when I went back to std. The g/fs car 1.6 focus was always taken over the golf for any spin with mates as the golf was too harsh. Nobody wanted to get into it. I couldnt have that, i could bare it but nobody else would. Having said that the golf looked so much better lowered than it is now, Just a pity it didnt ride as well as it looked.

The hottuning coilovers come with a 2 year warranty. Have you had these for more than 2 years?
If not see if you can get them replaced under their warranty, even if you don't want to put them back on you can sell them on.
