hi,
Changed the ECU and the immobiliser won't let the car start, haven't got the key for the new ecu.
Does anybody know what to do please ?

Thats ur problem then, You will need the key for the ECU.
I
think
you can get VAG-com to reset the immobliser codes.

You can indeed use VAGCOM to read the ecu immobiliser details, you just have to find somewhere that can take that information and program it to a key...
