Quick coilover question

at last recieved my coilovers! look ok, lowering tool in included in the box...

so to lower it is it just a case of jacking it up, srewing the disc underneath the spring lower down?

yes thats basicaly it. If you have 2 threads, make sure you tighten them up against each other.

make sure you measure the amount you have lowered it

measure from the original starting point? i.e. where the threasds start now?

and can they be fitted by any garage that does suspension? my mate seems to think only specialists can fit them... sounds rubbish to me....

oh and apart from inspection of the top mounts, should the garage do anyhting else?

I do recall something about tracking or camber of something?

would recommend someone that really knows what they are doing fits them for you. with these and those damn nice wheels you have some serious kit for your car so don't ruin it by getting some monkey to fit it all!

Best to have the camber done and def the tracking

There really easy to fit fella...

Just don't make the mistake of going too low to soon, run the dampers on the sofest setting as well for a little while just to get used to everything.

Mine are still on the softest setting and it is still to hard!! Going have to change the whole lot again, my poor car is being rattled to bits! But it is great on bends thats what counts
