Got a Friends VR in the Garage (P plate) and he is complaining of no power at low revs but ok once going say 3.5 to 4k
is there any thing in particular i should look out for on this engine with these symptoms, I have Vag com/fault readers but it is not showing up anything at the moment do they suffer from things like throttle body dirt and relays like the 8/16v engines or any other little weird niggles?
the car is in tip top condition with 60k on the clock maybe i should say its fcuk'ed and offer him £1500 for it
He is off to the VW dealers to buy all the service parts
as he is a bit fanatical about using VAG stuff.
Any ideas most appreciated
