Maybe that was worded wrong. There is a car industry but not much work going for somebody who studied car design. From my course i think there's 1 maybe 2 who are actually doing some kind of car design for a uk manufacturer. Others including myself have moved into other design disciplines or moved abroad.

I think all the F1 teams are based here and all within 25 miles of Silverstone iirc  :huh:

Theres a new team based in Norfolk getting geared up for 2010 season too.
