Shall i lower my golf by 60mm and put 16's on it or 35mm and put 17's on it obviously with the 60mm drop i will need arches rolled if i could get away with 17's and a 60mm drop i would?

If the 17"s are 35 offset then you could run a 70mm drop front and 60mm rear, I did on mine, had to trim the rear arches back but was ok and only rubbed with a large amount of weight in the back.

17s are too big for the MK3 in my opinion. I'm running 16s with around 90mm drop on the front and 80/75 on the rear. No arches rolled :)

17"s with standard bodykit.



Without the bodykit and lowered more.

I'm in agreement with you.
I had 17s on my last Mk3 and 16s on this one, and prefer how it looks and how it drives on 16s.

17's.. Lowered roughly 110mm front and 95mm rear (compared to original height on 17's).. 10mm spacers on the rear and rolled arches all round



Oh how I miss that car, my new one doesn't look anywhere near as special

I'm running 17's with only a 35mm drop. There are alot of speed bumps where I live...
